These are borrowed words, for they have been uttered before.
The letters that form these words are but a few, no more than 26.
I cannot claim originality, for the sequence they are in is but a repetition.
Yet, to me they are a novelty, sometimes.
Sometimes, they express a thought, completely new to me.
But they may have been uttered in similar fashion before.
And they may sound novel to others as well.
Maybe perceived as words of wisdom to those that hear them in that sequence for the first time too.
But they are borrowed words nonetheless.
We are destined to repeat them over and over again.
Because these words, these borrowed words, are forgotten over time.
They vanish once uttered, maybe lingering for a while, but forgotten in the end.
Until someone puts them together once more.
Claiming originality, perhaps, rewarded the mark of wisdom.
Writing them down as proof of their existence.
But that doesn’t mean somewhere, someone, who’s not read them as such,
Will come up with the same words, these same borrowed words.
